‘I was so scared’: Parents of child killed in Texas school bus crash cry after finding her face paint

“I was afraid I was going to die,” said mother of a 5-year-old student who died after she was killed in a Texas schoolbus crash in March.

“I’m just so sad.”

Police said a 5 year old girl was riding on the bus when the bus veered into the back of a parked vehicle and flipped.

Sarah, who was on the front of the bus, was pinned in the bus seat, the police report said.

The school bus had no brakes, according to the report.

The girl was not wearing a seatbelt and was unable to get off the bus.

Police did not release details of the cause of the accident.
